Paste a web-novel link or open your own PDF or EPUB, press play, and ReadLume narrates it aloud, with your screen off and your hands free. It's built for the way people actually get through long-running web serials: on commutes, during chores, and in the quiet before sleep.
Why it exists
Web novels are long. Hundreds of chapters, read on a phone, squeezed between everything else, which usually means eyes glued to a screen until they're too tired to keep going. ReadLume takes the story off the screen. It keeps playing while your phone is in your pocket, so the backlog you actually want to read finally moves.
What makes it different
Most apps stop at the end of a chapter. ReadLume pre-loads the next one and keeps going, with lock-screen controls and chapter auto-advance built to survive aggressive battery savers. Reading and standard listening for your own PDFs and EPUBs are free, always; paid plans add web-novel imports by URL and premium neural voices with word-level read-along.
Who makes it
ReadLume is an independent app, built and maintained by a solo developer, not a company.
